Non-Verbal Comminucations and Leadership – featuring Amy Cuddy
With years of research into social interactions and how we make judgments of others, social psychologist Amy Cuddy provides some startling insights into what personal behaviors and characteristics are most certain to promote effective leadership and how our own body language can not only influence how others perceive us, but how we perceive ourselves. This presentation will teach leaders how to influence the way others perceive them and how to communicate both trustworthiness and power.
During this program you will learn:
Why the specific content of your message is often less important than how you communicate it
How people often are more influenced by how they feel about you than by what you tell them
How connecting first leads to more creative thinking and openness to other ideas and people
How tiny changes in your body language and certain power poses can radically change your body chemistry and affect positively your career and job performance
