ONLINE LICENSE RENEWAL
ONLINE LICENSE RENEWAL INSTRUCTIONS:
You can now renew an active psychology license online and pay by credit card.
To renew online, follow the steps below.
- Go to dhmh.md.gov/psych
- Select Instructions. Close instruction window after reading and proceed to step 3.
- Enter your 5 digit license number
- Enter your password (last 4 digits of your social security number)
- Complete the following 5 menu items
Ø General Application Information
Ø Character and Fitness questions (Explanations and documentation maybe required)
Ø Psychology Associate Update
Ø Unlicensed Workers Exempt from Licensure
Ø Continuing Education
(Those being audited only: Mail CE documentation to the board within 2 days of completing the online renewal. Failure to meet CE requirements will delay the issuance of your license)
The RED arrow for each menu item will TURN GREEN once the section is completed.
ALL ARROWS MUST BE GREEN TO CONTINUE PROCESSING YOUR APPLICATION.
- Select payment option. Renewal fee - $378.00 ($350.00 renewal fee and $28.00 MHCC fee)

Ø Mail check (CHECK MUST BE MAILED WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RENEWAL SUBMISSION) Follow online instructions when mailing a check.
