Emergency preparedness is a set of doctrines to prepare civil society to cope with natural or man-made disasters. The Maryland Board of Pharmacy’s Emergency Preparedness Task Force is in operation to prepare for those emergency situations that may possibly occur. Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician volunteers are recruited to serve during times of natural or man-made disasters.
