The State of Maryland and DHMH are implementing a new On-Line Job Application System

• Effective date for new on-line system – August 10, 2012.  After this date, paper applications will no longer be accepted when applying for positions. 

• The new system is anticipated to improve the State’s recruitment process:

• Applicants will create a profile in the system which enables them to apply for positions

• Applicants will have the ability to apply for more than one job with a single application

•  Applicants will have the ability to log onto the system and check their application status online

• Communications will be sent to the applicant via the e-mail address they provide

•  This new system represents a more secure environment for applicant information
