TITLE: COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATOR II (1026) JP
SALARY: $36,280 - $57,567 (Grade 14)

DESCRIPTION: This is specialized professional work in the area of community health education. An employee in this class serves as a staff associate and has professional responsibility for specific health education projects within a program area at the State, regional, local or institutional level.
Education: Possession of a Bachelorís degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health Education, Community Health Education or Health Science.
Experience: One year of experience planning, developing, implementing and promoting health education projects.
Note: Possession of a Bachelorís degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 credit hours in Public Health Education, Community Health Education, Health Science or related behavioral science and two years of experience planning, developing, implementing and promoting health education projects may be substituted for the required education and experience.
LICENSES: Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operatorís license valid in the State of Maryland.
