Bundled Payments for an Episode of Care:

An approach to paying for care in which the provider is given a set amount of money to provide a patient with all of the services related to a particular episode of care. The details of each bundled payment contract varies, however, all bundled payment rates have a defined beginning and ending date and a list of included and excluded services.
