State Health Improvement Process (SHIP) Measures
The Maryland EPHT program is a state surveillance program that is part of a national tracking network of environmental and health data for the general public, policy makers, researchers, and agencies. Health data include asthma, birth defects, cancers, carbon monoxide poisonings, childhood blood lead, deaths, heart attacks, and low birth weight. Environmental data include community water contaminants, ozone, and PM 2.5.
