Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators
The Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators (BENHA) develops, administers, and enforces examination and education standards in order to protect Marylanders from unqualified and incompetent managers and administrators of nursing homes. Authority: Health Occupations Article, Title 9 of the Annotated Code of Maryland - COMAR 10.33.01.
The Board usually meets the second Wednesday of each month except January, July and August. All meetings start at 9:30 a.m. and are held at the Patterson Avenue Building. Please contact the Board's office for confirmation of meeting dates and room location.
The Executive Director and Board are delighted to announce that Andrea L. Hill has joined us as our new Licensing Coordinator, effective July 15, 2015. Andrea brings a strong senior administrative background to the Board, most recently working in the non-profit sector for a major well-known organization where, among other duties, she worked with several boards and senior executives. We extend a hearty welcome to Andrea and are excited about working with her.
